Our pizza pillow recipe is a great way to kick off an amazing dinner party with friends, or just a light lunch on the weekend!
- Puff Pastry | 6 Sheets
- Barbecue Sauce
- Cheese | Shredded
- Shallots | 1 Stem | Finely chopped
- Yellow Capsicum | 1/4 | Finely chopped
- Mushrooms | 12 | Sliced
- Black Olives | 12 | Halved
- Cabanossi | 1 Stick| Sliced
- Salami | 100gm | Sliced thinly
STEP 1 | Prep veggies, cheese and cured meats, then set aside for easy assembly.
STEP 2 | Divide one puff pastry sheet into four even squares.
STEP 3 | Add the barbecue sauce, cheese, shallots, capsicum, mushrooms, olives, cabanossi and salami
STEP 4 | Using a baking brush, gently coat the outer edges of the puff pastry with an egg wash.
STEP 5 | Cover with another puff pastry square, and gently press around the edges
STEP 6 | Using a fork, push down along the sides of the pastry, making a firm seal
STEP 7 | Give a final egg wash to the outer layer of the pastry
STEP 7 | Bake a pre-heated oven at 200oC for 15 - 20mins or until golden brown.
